Modules 1 – 2
Reading the Chart
The groundwork: what a chart is actually showing you, and what has to be true before any pattern means anything. Nothing here is optional — every later module rests on it.
What you work through:
- Bar and candlestick charts, and why the close carries the most weight
- Ratio versus arithmetic scale, and which markets are worth charting at all
- Trends: primary, secondary and minor — and the three phases of a move
- Support and resistance: why levels exist and how to judge their strength
- Trendlines and channels: drawing them, and what counts as a real break
- Volume: the rules that confirm a move, and the ones that warn you off
Modules 3 – 5
Patterns
The catalogue, and the discipline that makes it useful: what separates a real pattern from a shape you have talked yourself into, and what each one implies once it breaks.
What you work through:
- The four conditions every genuine pattern has to meet
- Head and shoulders — top, bottom, complex, and the failed version
- Double and triple tops, rounding turns, broadening formations, diamonds
- Triangles, rectangles, flags, pennants and wedges
- Gaps and island reversals: which ones mean something and which do not
- Measured objectives, and why they are minimums rather than exits
Modules 6 – 8
Execution and Risk
The half that decides whether the rest pays. Where a stop belongs, how much to commit, when to do nothing at all, and how to run the whole thing as a routine instead of a reaction.
What you work through:
- Entries: at the break, or on the return move
- Initial stops, basing points, and the progressive stop that follows a winner
- Position sizing and the one-percent rule
- Reward to risk, win rate, and the arithmetic that connects them
- Total exposure: leverage, margin and staying diversified
- Standing aside, the trading routine, and a complete trade start to finish

Who is Trading Technicals for?
Anyone starting out in the markets, and anyone who has been trading for a while without a method they can explain. The course assumes no prior knowledge and builds in order, but it does assume you will do the work: forty-four lessons, watched against live charts rather than skimmed.

How do I know this will work for me?
What you are learning here is classical technical analysis: methods worked out decades ago and still in daily use, because they describe how buyers and sellers behave rather than how one market behaved in one period. That is no promise of profit, and nobody honest can give you one. Results depend on your own discipline and risk control, which is why two of the eight modules are about exactly that.
How quickly can I see results?
That varies with effort, existing experience, and how quickly you apply what you learn. Many students notice improvements in their decisions and emotional management within a few weeks of applying the material consistently. Achieving consistent results is a gradual process that requires patience, discipline and practice. Focus on long-term growth rather than immediate success — becoming a proficient trader is a marathon, not a sprint.
